Return On Investment
Projected Return On Investment
We have been promoting the Permanent Resident Investor status as provided by Forestry law 7575, article #70 as a method to obtain one's status here.. The plus's that are offered by that status coupled with the pre-approved and non-restrictive aspect were we felt of such importance that we felt that the anticipated ROI of the investment was or could be considered secondary.
A number of people have asked if we could quote what would be the return on investment. Upon research and review we used the combination of Dr. Raymond Keough growth formula (see our web page) and ITTO printed material. ITTO stands for International Tropical Timber Organization which was established under the auspices of the United Nations. Google ITTO.com for additional information
We believe that you will find that with or without the incentive of obtaining one's Permanent Resident Investor status the ROI of the investment itself warrants consideration. The Myanmar prices we quote below were found on the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) web page. We believe you will find the following self explanatory. We have attempted to project a conservative ROI. For example our projection's reflect a 3% annual price increase from year 2007 until year 2020.
Realistic?? Year 2007 saw a price increase between 20 - 30%
Please remember....Dividends from reforestation are Income tax free here in Costa Rica.
